Saturday Night Live ratings were up on the final episode of head writer and Weekend Update co-anchor Seth Meyers.
According to Deadline, SNL received a 5.4 household rating for Nielsen and a 2.9 rating in adults 18-49 for Local People Meters. Melissa McCarthy hosted the show with musical guest Imagine Dragons. It rose 13% from last week’s episode hosted by Jonah Hill and was up 12% in the 18-49 category. This episode is SNL’s second highest rated original episode trailing the December 21 episode (6.4 in HH and 3.9 in 18-49) hosted by Jimmy Fallon with musical guest Justin Timberlake.
Meyers will replace Fallon on Late Night.
