From the protégé of one serial killer to another: Sam Underwood has been cast as a series regular for the second season of The Following.
Underwood, who is currently recurring on Showtime’s Dexter, will play Luke, “a very complicated and dangerous young man.” Whether or not he will be revealed as one of Joe Carroll’s infamous followers remains to be seen.
This casting fills one of three new roles to appear in The Following’s second season, according to TVLine.
Underwood’s other television credits include Zero Hour and an upcoming stint on Homeland.
