Great news for the fans of Netflix’s Wednesday production for the third season has officially wrapped. Although we will have to wait a year for season three, it’s still nice to know that production has gone smoothly.
For those who don’t know, Wednesday is a series that tells a story about Wednesday Addams who is sent to Nevermore Academy. While she is there she makes friends, masters her emerging psychic ability, and must solve a supernatural mystery that has been looming over her parents 25 years ago. The latest season left viewers on a cliffhanger revealing that Wednesday’s long lost Aunt Ophelia is alive and being held in her Grandmother’s basement. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the wait for the third season will be a bit shorter than we think, with a possibility that the season will return next fall.
The cast consists of Jenna Ortega (The Gallerist, Hurry Up Tomorrow), Emma Myers (A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, Star Wars: Visions), Hunter Doohan (Evil Dead Burn, The Wilderness), Joy Sunday (DTF St. Louis, I’ve Never Said This Before with Tommy DiDario), Georgie Farmer (The Tale of the Skull Tree, Life Hack), Moosa Mostafa (The Last Bus, Nativity Rocks!), Isaac Ordonez (Husky, 7th & Union), Luis Guzmán (Coyote vs. Acme, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie), Catherine Zeta-Jones (National Treasure: Edge of History, Prodigal Son), Billie Piper (Doctor Who: The Ninth Doctor Adventures, Elsinore), Evie Templeton (Victorian Psycho, Return to Silent Hill), Eva Green (Trees are Watching, Just Play Dead), Winona Ryder (Stranger Things, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice), Chris Sarandon (Disney Speedstorm, Disney Dreamlight Valley), Noah Taylor (Big Girls Don’t Cry), Oscar Morgan (A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Before We Forget), Kennedy Moyer (Task, Roofman), Aidan Thornton (The Parting, Gap), Lena Headey (The Abandons, Ballistic), Andrew McCarthy (Orion, The Blacklist), and James Lance (Ted Lasso, Beyond Paradise).
The third season will debut next year. In the meantime, you can watch the first two seasons of the show on Netflix in order to get caught up for the main event.
