Prime Video Announces ‘The Boys’ Season Four Will Premiere on June 13

According to Amazon, Prime Video’s The Boys will be premiering season four on June 13th. The fourth season will debut with three episodes starting on June 13th, with new episodes being released on a weekly basis until the finale on July 18th.

The series is produced in collaboration by Amazon MGM Studios, Kripke Enterprises, Original Film, Point Grey Pictures and Sony Pictures Television.

Per the logline, for season four of The Boys, “the world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office—and Butcher, who has only months to live, has lost Becca’s son as well as his job as The Boys’ leader. The team is fed up with his lies—but with the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world.”

The series features Laz Alonso (Avatar, Fast & Furious), Tomer Capone (One Week and Day, Fauda), Chace Crawford (Gossip Girl, What to Expect When You’re Expecting), Cameron Crovetti (The Gray Man, Big Little Lies), Claudia Doumit (Scandal, Timeless), Karen Fukuhara (Suicide Squad, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power), Colby Minifie (Fear the Walking Dead, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Erin Moriarty (True Detective, Jessica Jones) Jack Quaid (The Hunger GamesStar Trek: Lower Decks) Antony Starr (Outrageous Fortune, Banshee), Karl Urban (Dredd, The Bourne Supremacy) and Jessie T. Usher (Independence Day: Resurgence, Smile).

New casting additions for season four are Valorie Curry (Blair Witch, The Following), Susan Heyward (Orange Is the New BlackPowers) and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Watchmen, The Walking Dead).

The series is based on the comic of the same name by Garth Ennis (Punisher, The Darkness) and Darick Robertson (Transmetropolitan, Space Beaver), who serve as executive producers along with showrunner Eric Kripke (Supernatural, Revolution).

Meredith Glynn (Eye Candy, Scream: The TV Series), Evan Goldberg (The Interview, Preacher), Paul Grellong (Tracer Gun, Revolution), Ken F. Levin (Preacher, The Boys Presents: Diabolical), Neal H. Moritz (I Know What You Did Last Summer, Cruel Intentions), Judalina Neira (Daisy Jones & The Six, The Flash), Jason Netter (StarBeam, Wanted), David Reed (The Magicians, Aquarius), Seth Rogen (Superbad, This Is the End), Phil Sgriccia (Gen V, Max Headroom), Pavun Shetty (S.W.A.T., Goosebumps), Michaela Starr (Revolution, The Boys Presents: Diabolical) and James Weaver (Neighbors, The Disaster Artist) are executive producers.
