Paramount+ Reveals Release Date And Theme Song In New Teaser For ‘Frasier’ Revival

According to Deadline, Paramount+ has revealed the release date for the series Frasier. Frasier is a spin-off series of the sitcom Cheers, which premiered in 1982 and continued until 1993. In the United States, the first two episodes of Frasier are set to release on Paramount+ on October 12th. After that, a new episode will premiere each week on Thursdays. For those outside of the United States, the first two episodes are set to premiere on October 13th with new episodes coming out each week on Fridays. On October 17th, the first two episodes of Frasier will air on CBS.

As Deadline notes, in Cheers, Kelsey Grammer (Boss, Like Father) played the role of psychiatrist Frasier Crane. In the new spin-off series Frasier, created by Joe Cristalli (Life in Pieces, Perfect Harmony) and Chris Harris (A Question of Sport, Apex: The Story of the Hypercar), Grammer will be returning to this role.

In addition to the release date being revealed, the new theme song for Frasier has also been revealed. The theme song is titled Tossed Salad and Scrambled Eggs and was recorded by Grammer. The teaser with the new theme song can be viewed below.

Frasier revolves around Dr. Frasier Crane’s life as he is presented with new challenges and has the opportunity to build new relationships. He is also accompanied by his son Freddy, played by Jack Cutmore-Scott (Deception, Bad Match), who is a firefighter.

Other stars of Cheers will be reprising their roles, including Bebe Neuwirth (Madam Secretary, Green Card) as Lilith and Peri Gilpin (A Dash of Love, Make It or Break It) as Roz.

The spin-off series also includes Nicholas Lyndhurst (New Tricks, Butterflies) as Alan, Toks Olagundoye (Castle, The Rookie) as Olivia, Jess Salgueiro (Workin’ Moms, The Unleashed) as Eve, Anders Keith (Variations) as David, and more.
