According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount+ has recently canceled Fatal Attraction and Rabbit Hole. Both the series ran for one season before being canceled by the streamer. They will be available to stream on the platform instead of being pulled out of the service completely.
A Paramount+ spokesperson via The Hollywood Reporter said, “Fatal Attraction and Rabbit Hole will not be returning for second seasons on Paramount+. We want to thank both series’ entire creative teams, crews, and the fantastic casts for their dedication to bringing these series to life. Both Fatal Attraction and Rabbit Hole will continue to be available on Paramount+ for audiences to discover.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fatal Attraction is a rebooted series of the Glenn Close (101 Dalmatians) and Michael Douglas (Ant-Man) psychosexual thriller. The series was produced by Paramount Television Studios and starred Lizy Caplan (Masters of Sex) and Joshua Jackson (Dawson’s Creek). The series has a 37 percent rating among critics and a 71 percent score from viewers on Rotten Tomatoes. The streamer ordered Rabbit Hole in 2021 which was produced in-house by CBS Studios. This was also the return of Kiefer Sutherland (The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial) to a televised series. The series was able to garner more favorable reviews, with a 76 percent and 86 percent score among critics and viewers.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fatal Attraction and Rabbit Hole became the latest cancelation to come to the streamer. Previous series to be canceled by Paramount+ includes iCarly sequel, Star Trek: Prodigy which now has new home on Netflix, Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, The Game and Queen of the Universe. These shows were later removed from the streamer altogether. The streamer also removed Inside Amy Schumer, Tell Me a Story, and many originals from Nickelodeon.
Fatal Attraction and Rabbit Hole are still available to stream on Paramount+.
