TVLine reports that Oprah’s network has released big news today: the premiere date for Linday Lohan-focused docuseries and the upcoming launch of a new series based on the movie The Single Moms Club.
Lindsay, the new docuseries that will document Lindsay Lohan’s journey from her period of crisis (both public and private) to a recovery, will air on Sunday, March 9.
The docuseries is directed by Amy Rice and promises its viewers they will get “an intimate, unflinching look into the life of one of the world’s most sought-after celebrities.”
OWN also announced they’re ordering a new scripted series from Tyler Perry, based on his upcoming movie The Single Moms Club.
The series is set to premiere next fall and will follow the lives of a group of single mothers, all very different from each other, “who are brought together by an incident at their children’s school” and decide to form a group that will help them all get through the various ups and down of their lives.
Tyler Perry stars in his own movie, but it’s already known that he will not be a part of the OWN series cast, which will be entirely put together by the network.
