NYCC: Paramount+ Announces Premiere Date For ‘Wolf Pack’ Series With New Teaser, Cast Additions

Paramount+ announced the premiere date for its upcoming series Wolf Pack during the show’s panel at New York Comic Con on Friday. According to Deadline, the new series is set to arrive Thursday, January 26, 2023. The launch date was accompanied by a first-look teaser which can be viewed below.

The show is based on the horror novels by Edo Van Belkom (Cry Wolf, Wolf Man) and is written and produced by Jeff Davis (Teen Wolf, Criminal Minds), per Deadline. The series follows four teenagers who are uniquely bonded after a set of Californian wildfires awaken an unknown terror.

Armani Jackson (Honor Society) and Bella Shepard (On the Ropes) play Everett and Blake, strangers who are suddenly drawn to each other as they both share similar wounds following the natural disaster, via Deadline. As they investigate this happenstance, they cross paths with fraternal twins Harlan and Luna, played by Tyler Lawrence Gray (Feeling Randy) and Chloe Rose Robertson (Wildflower). The foursome discovers they each share similar trauma connected to local wildfires. Trauma rooted in something more deeply sinister and supernatural: the mark of a werewolf.

The main cast is rounded out by TV’s original teen vampire slayer, Sarah Michelle Gellar (I Know What You Did Last Summer), and Rodrigo Santoro (7 Prisoners). And during the panel, Deadline reports twelve additional castmates were announced. They include Hollie Bahar (Westworld), Lanny Joon (Baby Driver), Chase Liefeld (Chang Can Dunk), James Martinez (Queen of the South), Rio Mangini (Everything Sucks), Zack Nelson (The Rookie), Stella Smith (Stargirl), and Bailey Stender (iCarly).

Bria Brimmer (Doom Patrol), John L. Adams (The Dead Zone), Sean Philip Glasgow (Diary of a Future President), and Amy Pietz (Caroline in the City) round out the supporting cast in recurring roles.

According to Deadline, Davis and Gellar are joined by executive producers Jason Ensler (Monarch), Christian Taylor (Resident Alien), Joe Genier (The Perfect Holiday), Mike Elliott (The Munsters), and Karen Gorodetzky (Cupid for Christmas).

While it isn’t necessarily connected, Wolf Pack premieres the same day as Paramount+’s film, Teen Wolf: Movie. The film will continue the story Davis created with the hit MTV series, Teen Wolfwhich aired from 2011 to 2017.
