Nolan North Gives An Update To Season Five Of Max’s ‘Young Justice’

According to ScreenRant, during recent interview, Nolan North (Rick and Morty) spoke about the possibility of the Max original Young Justice getting a fifth installment. North voiced Superboy in the series and after its fourth season cliffhanger, many fans are wondering what’s next for the action-adventure superhero series.

In the interview with ScreenRant Nolan said, “Well, we have Warner Brothers people on the Zoom right now, I’m telling you guys, we can do this. We can make another season. I don’t know, I’m not privy to that. I know it’s hit. I know fans want it desperately. I don’t know, I wish I did. We were so fortunate to get to do the first two seasons and three and four. As you know, if you saw season four, Superboy had a big storyline in that and it was so much fun. I love Greg Weisman (Gargoyles) and Brandon Vietti (The Batman), we just have so much fun. They’re so passionate about their stories. So fingers crossed that something gets done. Maybe in the future. I don’t think there’s plans right now. But we always say we’re not canceled, we just haven’t been picked up yet. That’s how I always feel about this show. So nobody’s ever definitively said there will no longer be any [more] Young Justice. Now, if tomorrow, they put that article out there, it’s our fault you understand that right?”

The DC series Young Justice follows the lives of many teenage superheroes who are very well-known sidekicks such as Robin, Superboy, Kid Flash, and many more. These individuals work together as covert operation group compared to their mentors in the Justice League. The series started back in 2011 on Cartoon Network before being canceled after their second season in 2013. The season returned in 2019 but since its fourth season in 2022, there has been no official cancellation or renewal of the series.

All four seasons of Young Justice are available to stream on Max.
