Netflix’s ‘Inside Job,’ from the Creators of ‘Gravity Falls,’ Announces Cast Including Lizzy Caplan, Christian Slater, and Clark Duke

Netflix’s Adult Animation Studio Focus, a part of the Annecy Animation Festival, came out with some big news today. Their new animated program, Inside Job, has found its cast of voice actors.

Via Deadline, the exceptional cast will be led by Lizzy Caplan (Masters of Sex), Christian Slater (Mr. Robot), and Clark Duke (The Office). Other important series regulars include Andy Daly (Review, Modern Family), John Dimaggio (Futurama), and Tisha Campbell (Empire). With many of these stars having experience in voice acting, the sky’s the limit for the new animated show.

Inside Job will be familiar territory for many fans of another animated cult classic, Gravity Falls, as both Alex Hirsch and Shion Takeuchi are set to executive produce the new Netflix series. Hirsh and Takeuchi were the creators of Gravity Falls, and the duo seems to be staying in the same ballpark of their Disney show. Inside Job will delve into the supernatural once again, this time finding sourcing from today’s conspiracy theories.

Via Variety, the show will focus on Reagan Ridley (Caplan), an anti-social technology wiz, as she deals with the highs and lows of working for Cognito Inc, a company that does its dealings in conspiracies and the deep state. Working for the elites above the elites in today society is not all that it is lived up to be, and along with her partner, Brett Hand (Duke), a fun-loving sidekick, and her father, Rand Ridley (Slater), disgraced head of Cognito Inc, Ridley is left to traverse through a pretty wild nine to five grind.

The new series is still very early in production so no time table can be given on when it will arrive on Netflix. In the meantime, fans can get back in the conspiracy theory groove by watching Gravity Falls on Disney+.
