Netflix’s ‘Halston’ Slated To Premiere In May

The new Netflix limited series Halston is slated to premiere on May 14, as the streamer officially announced, according to VarietyThe series follows iconic fashion designer Roy Halston Frowick on his journey to create a worldwide fashion empire in New York in the 1970s and 1980s.

The upcoming series stars Ewan McGregor (Moulin Rouge) as Halston, Krysta Rodriguez (Daybreak) as Liza Minnelli, Rebecca Dayan (H.) as Elsa Peretti, Bill Pullman (Independence Day) as David Mahoney, Gian Franco Rodriguez (Simon) as Victor Hugo, David Pittu (Submission) as Joe Eula, Sullivan Jones (The Surrogate) asEd Austin, Rory Culkin (Lords of Chaos) as Joel Schumacher, Kelly Bishop (Dirty Dancing, Gilmore Girls), as Eleanor Lambert and Vera Farmiga (The Conjuring) as Adele.

The series is executive produced by McGregor, Daniel Minahan (Deadwood: The Movie), Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story), Ian Brennan (Glee), Alexis Martin Woodall (The Prom), Eric Kovtun (The Prom), and Sharr White (The Other Place). The cast also released polaroids to tease the upcoming series, while will debut in May.
