Netflix Releases Trailer For ‘Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet Of Curiosities’

Netflix has released a teaser trailer for Guillermo Del Toro’s (Crimson Peak) upcoming series, Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet Of Curiosities. The trailer was unveiled at the show’s Netflix Geeked Week presentation.

The trailer shows five new unannounced cast members including Eric André (The Eric Andre Show), Sofia Boutella (Star Trek Beyond), Ismael Cruz Córdova (Miss Bala), Kate Micucci (The Big Bang Theory), and Charlyne Yi (This Is 40).

The show had already announced that Essie Davis (Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries), Luke Roberts (Dracula: The Dark Prince), Andrew Lincoln (The Walking Dead), F. Murray Abraham (Moon Knight), Glynn Turman (A Different World), Ben Barnes (Shadow And Bone), Elpidia Carrillo (Nine Lives), Hannah Galway (Sex/Life), Crispin Glover (Charlie’s Angels), Demetrius Grosse (Love Jacked), David Hewlett (A Dog’s Breakfast), Tim Blake Nelson (Old Henry), Sebastian Roché (The Originals), and Peter Weller (RoboCop) would be joining the cast of the series. Rupert Grint (Harry Potter And The Sorcerer’s Stone) was previously reported by Deadline to be in the series and the trailer has confirmed his involvement.

Panos Cosmatos (Beyond The Black Rainbow), Jennifer Kent (The Babadook), and Vincenzo Natali (In The Tall Grass) will write and direct single episodes of the series, which was retitled from Guillermo Del Toro Presents 10 After Midnight.

Other episode directors for Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet Of Curiosities include Ana Lily Amirpour (A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night), Catherine Hardwicke (Red Riding Hood), Guillermo Navarro (Cocaine Godmother), David Prior (The Empty Man) and Keith Thomas (The Vigil).

Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities is created and executive produced by Del Toro. Other executive producers for the upcoming series include J. Miles Dale (The Shape of Water), who also serves as co-showrunner, Gary Ungar (Gothika), and Regina Corrado (The Godmother), who will write for the upcoming series as well.

A release date for the series has not yet been announced.
