Arnold Schwarzenegger is back like he promised! Nearly four decades have passed since Schwarzenegger’s famous “I’ll be back” line in his 1984 movie The Terminator. Now, thanks to Netflix’s action comedy Fubar, Arnold has kept his promise. Announced on TVLine, the second season trailer of Schwarzenegger’s comedy has just been released by Netflix, citing its return to the platform on Thursday, June 12. In a memorable turn of events, the trailer shows Schwarzenegger (True Lies, The Running Man) popping out of a tank with a cigar in his mouth, and saying, “I told you! I’m back!.” Watch the trailer here:
According to TVLine, Fubar stars Schwarzenegger as veteran CIA operative Luke Brunner, whose plans to retire are derailed after his daughter Emma Brunner, played by Monica Barbaro (UnREAL, The Cathedral), requires rescuing during a mission of her own as a fellow operative. In season two, the series will introduce a new villain, played by Carrie-Anne Moss (Memento, Pompeii). However, for Schwarzenegger’s character Brunner, his “new villain” turns out to be an “old flame” who threatens to destroy the world and his life.
