Neil Patrick Harris has replaced Kate Mara in announcing Thursday morning’s 2013 Emmy nominations, explains the Hollywood Reporter.
The House of Cards actress had flight problems Wednesday evening. She is currently on location in Santa Fe, where her flight malfunctioned and was unable to take off, explains a rep for the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Neil Patrick Harris, who is also hosting the award show, is a last-minute replacement for Mara, who was scheduled to present the nominees alongside Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul.
The rep adds that Mara sent her sincerest regrets.
