

According to Screenrant, a recent trailer for the upcoming second season of the renowned spin-off, The Walking Dead: Dead City, has been released and paints a city in which chaos is still running amok. It showcases that Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Boys, Supernatural), goes on to take leadership over the Burazi. We also see the return of Maggie, played by Lauren Cohan (Invincible, Twilight of the Gods), who after saving her son, Hershel, played by Logan Kim (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, Kung Fu Panda 4), regrets her past actions and plans to save her compatriot. According to Screenrant, the trailer showcases the tension that the two share and is a constant reminder of their shared history and the unresolved trauma that binds them. The audience sees that Negan is slowly getting comfortable in his new position as he helps in resolving conflict between the Dama, played by Lisa Emery (Ozark, Roger Dodger) and the Croat, played by Željko Ivanek (Damages, The Sender). On the other hand, we see that after returning to Manhattan, Maggie and Hershel had crossed paths with Perlie Armstrong, played by Gaius Charles (Alice, Taken), who wanted to bring order back to the city.
The Walking Dead:Dead City season two will most likely see the team-up between Maggie, Hershel, and Perlie, in which their mission is to stop the chaos within the city from spreading. Later on, viewers observe that Maggie is facing some difficulties with the rescue plan to save Negan, and in the end, she is seen wielding his new Lucille bat.
According to Screenrant, the story behind season two is rumored to be even bigger and filled with more character development than in the previous season. While fans await the release of the second season which is set to premier on May 4, the entire first season of The Walking Dead: Dead City is available to stream on Sling TV and AMC+
