NBC Reveal’s Official Sneak Peek For ‘Grosse Pointe Garden Society’

According to TVLine, NBC has revealed the first official sneak peek for the drama series Grosse Pointe Garden Society. The series will premiere on the network on Sunday, February 23, at 10/9c. The trailer showcases what is to come from the series as it shows a group in their local gardening club which seems to be the full basis of the series until it’s shown that they also deal with homicide, arson and more seedy misbehavior.

The sneak peek dialogue begins with “Here’s what they don’t tell you when you join a garden club. To make something grow, something has to die.” then it Segway’s to “I can’t believe we’re burying a body.”

As per TVLine, the series is written by Jenna Bans  (Desperate Housewives, Scandal, Good Girls) and Bill Krebs (No Tomorrow, Good Girls). It follows four very different individuals who are part of a titular garden club who “get caught up in murder and mischief as they struggle to make their conventional lives bloom.” The series sees the group deal with the issues of gardening and murder which no one wants to talk about and it starts to eat each one of them which starts affecting their lives.

The series cast includes  Melissa Fumero (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, All My Children) as Birdie, AnnaSophia Robb (The Carrie Diaries, The Way Way Back) as Alice, Ben Rappaport (For the People, Mr.Robot) as Brett, Matthew Davis (Legacies, Blue Crush) as Joel, Alexander Hodge (Insecure), Aja Naomi King (Lessons in Chemistry, The Birth of a Nation) as Catherine, Nancy Travis (Last Man Standing, The Vanishing) as Patty, Felix Avitia (Raven’s Home, Pete the Cat) as Ford, Alexander Hodge (Joy Ride, She Taught Love) as Doug, Ron Yuan (The Brothers Sun, Blade of the 47 Ronin) as Keith and many others.

Bans and Krebs executive-produce on the series, alongside Casey Kyber (Black Candle Women, What She Said) and pilot director Maggie Kiley (American Sports Story, Keep Breathing). The project hails from Universal Television and Minnesota Logging Co.
