Mike White’s ‘The White Lotus’ Season Three Cast Announced: Leslie Bibb, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Dom Hetrakul & Tayme Thapthimthong

According to Deadline, Leslie Bibb (Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Jupiter’s Legacy), Jason Isaacs (The Patriot, The State Within), Michelle Monaghan (The Path, Mission: Impossible – Fallout), Parker Posey (Beau Is Afraid, Dazed and Confused), Dom Hetrakul (Blackbeard, Duangjai Taewaprom) and Tayme Thapthimthong (Farang, Hooked) have joined the cast for season three of The White Lotus. They are joining returning cast member Natasha Rothwell (Wish, Wonka) in Mike White’s (School of Rock, Year of the Dog) Emmy-winning series.

According to Deadline, season three, which is set in Thailand, will start filming around Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok in February. The season will show a different group of guests at another White Lotus property.

According to Deadline, the new cast’s characters will consist of a “multi-generational group includes a patriarch, a female corporate executive, an actress, a couple of mothers, including a country club wife, a misfit and a yogi.”

No further details have been shared about the characters the new cast members are playing or how many episodes the season will have, although it is confirmed Rothwell will reprise her season one role as Belinda.

Casting began hours after the end of the SAG-AFTRA strike with several more actor deals being negotiated.

In an interview with Deadline, White said the new season will be a “supersized White Lotus” and that’s suppose to be”longer, bigger and crazier.” White said the season will have a specific focus on “death in Eastern religion and spirituality.”

The season was originally slated for a 2024 release until it was delayed by the SAG-AFTRA strike. The new release date is projected to be in 2025.
