‘Michael’ Star Jessica Sula Joins Fox’s ‘The Interrogator’

Following a string of cast announcements, Fox’s upcoming drama series The Interrogator has enlisted Jessica Sula, according to Deadline. The Lionsgate Television and Fox Entertainment collaboration was picked up straight-to-series for the 2026-27 season.

Starring Stephen Fry (V for Vendetta, The Three Urns), the show follows a former MI6 agent lead an elite team in tackling some of the world’s most dangerous criminals. Fry stars as lead Conrad Henry, who utilizes his charm and unique methods to solve the most complex crimes.

Sula will star as Astrid, a criminal psychologist. While new to the world of espionage, she adapts quickly. Partly because she gained skills from Henry, a somewhat father figure to her. If she were on the other side of the tracks, her skills would make her an expert con artist.

According to Deadline, Sula joins the recently announced Jenna Elfman (Dark Winds, Shifting Gears) and Michael Beach (Mayor of Kingstown, Secret Level). The series will also star former FBI: International star Luke Kleintank (Sleep No More).

Fry wrote the pilot’s script with Matt Pyken (Mr. Robot, Monarch) and William Harper (Fire Country, Clarice) providing revisions. Dan Dworkin (The Lost Symbol, Outer Banks) and Jay Beattie (Surface, Alaska Daily) are the showrunners and executive producers, joining Harper, Fry, Pyken and series director, Paul McGuigan (RJ Decker, Big Sky). The rest of the EP team consists of Miriam Mintz (American Classic, Inland Empire) and Anthony Bergman (Power Ballad, Doin’ It) of Likely Story, Neil Burger (Motorheads, Voyagers) and Anonymous Content.

If Sula looks familiar, it’s because she most recently appeared in the box office smash, Michael, as the iconic pop star’s sister, LaToya Jackson. She just finished production in Play House along with Will Harrison (Daisy Joins and The Six, Manhunt) and appears in Malum, a reboot of the filmmaker Anthony DiBlasi’s Last Shift. She’s also a series regular in Amazon’s Panic
