it seems like the Griffins from Family Guy are dusting off the robes and preparing their lightsabers for long-awaited Star Wars crossover episode and to celebrate May the 4th. According to Comicbook, it was around 16 years since the last crossover consisting of three episodes called Laugh It Fuzzball, which focused on the first three films, having Chris, voiced by Seth Green (Phineas and Ferb, What If…?), as Luke; Peter and Brian, voiced by Seth Macfarlane (Ted, Pest in the West), as Han Solo and Chewbacca; and Lois, voiced by Alex Borstein (The Bad Guys, Resident Alien), as Leia.
Another factor the approaching crossover will include will be several other characters from different shows, like back in the previous special showing Roger from American Dad or Cleveland Brown, voiced by Arif Zahir (Robot Chicken, Gumbino) from the Cleveland Show. Stated by Comicbook, the reason behind the long-awaited project hiatus was mainly due to Macfarlane, as the series creator, dealing with Disney having acquired LucasFilm, but now things have settled down.
Reported by Comicbook, details on which latest film or series the new crossover will be based on remain unknown, but fans have speculated that it could be based on The Mandalorian & Grogu and further teased by Hulu staying, “The Force is strong on Spooner Street.” Stay tuned to find out why.” The team will surely deliver the same level of humor while staying true to the given source material that made the crossover so well-known. Others have speculated on the characters playing the role, such as Peter being Mando and Stewie possibly being Grogu.
Regardless of the circumstances, the Force is clearly rising within Quahog. No matter which side the Griffin family and their fellow citizens choose, this promises to be a must-watch experience.
