Max Jenkins and Luke Roessler Join Netflix’s Dark Comedy ‘Dead to Me’

Netflix’s dark comedy Dead to Me has cast Max Jenkins (The Mysteries of Laura) and Luke Roessler (Legion),  both of which will be joining Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini as series regulars. Dead to Me is a ten episode straight to series order. It will be written by Liz Feldman. Feldman will be joined by both Will Ferrell and Adam McKay. The series is described as a comical Big Little Lies. The show will be about a powerful friend between Jen (Applegate), whom is a tightly wound widow, and Judy (Cardellini), a free spirit that has a secret.

Jenkins has also been in the HBO series High Maintenance, as well as, Netflix’s Orange Is The New Black, 30 Rock and the independent feature Fort Tilden. Jenkins’ character will be Christopher, who is a church going and gay real estate partner of Jen’s. Despite the fact that he has good intentions and is fully supportive of his friend, Christopher finds himself saying the wrong things.

Roessler has been in TV shows like: Supergirl, Once Upon A Time, Bates Motel and Arrow. He has also been in films as well like Deadpool 2 and will also be seen in Disney Channel’s Descendants 3 that will premiere in 2019. Roessler will play as Henery who is described as Jen’s younger son and he is a softie with a big heart. He is a kid full of compassion and very upbeat and positive. He even worries about his mother being lonely after the death of his father.
