The sixty year-old actress will be joining the show in its fifth and nex-to-last season, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Steenburgen will be Katherine Hale, “a beautiful, Southern belle who was the wife of Wynn Duffy’s mentor in crime.”
She will first appear on the 10th episode of this season but is expected to recur for a few more, although it is not exact for how many.
The Oscar-winning actress is known for her work on other TV shows like Wilfred, 30 Rock, Bored to Death and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
