Another guest star will be arriving Under the Dome: Mare Winningham is slated to appear on the summer series.
Executive producer Neal Baer describes the Emmy-winning actress as his “good-luck charm,” explaining that he has worked with her on multiple other series. “She brings truth and believability to every role, and she will definitely leave viewers talking.”
According to TVLine, Winningham will appear as Agatha, a mysterious woman who takes Big Jim (Dean Norris) into the home she’s looking after. It soon becomes apparent, however, that she has ulterior motives beyond mere generosity.
Winningham joins Natalie Zea, another Under the Dome guest star who will recur for a multi-episode arc.
The highly-rated series airs Mondays at 10 PM on CBS.
