IFC has announced they are now streaming an episode of Comedy Bang! Bang! online as a promo before season two begins on July 12.
The episode, which features comedienne Sarah Silverman, is available on IFC’s website as well as iTunes, Amazon, Hulu, YouTube, Facebook, TVE and VOD. IFC posted the video on June 28, saying, “We hear the heart-wrenching pleas of fans yearning for a hint of what happens next every day via Twitter and Facebook and passenger pigeons carrying coded messages.”
The streaming episode, entitled”‘Sarah Silverman Wears a Black Dress with a White Collar” is actually episode 8 from the upcoming season. Sarah visits the show and makes a normally confident Scott become nervous. Reggie comes to the rescue and helps him get through the interview.
In addition to Sarah Silverman, Joe Lo Truglio (“Role Models”, “Superbad” and “Wet Hot American Summer”) and Adam DeVine (Workaholics) guest star on the episode. The air date for “Sarah Silverman Wears a Black Dress with a White Collar” is set to be August 20 at 10 PM.
Comedy Bang! Bang! airs weekly on IFC, and also has both a podcast and live standup version. The live show is every Tuesday at Los Angeles’ Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, according to IFC.com.
