‘Loki’, ‘WandaVision’, & ‘The Mandalorian’ to Be Released on 4K UHD & Blu-Ray

According to Deadline, Disney+ will be releasing Loki, The Mandalorian, and WandaVision in 4K UHD and Blu-ray. This will be the first physical release of these Disney+ original series’.

All three of the series’ are going to be available for pre-order on August 28. Season one of Loki is going to be released on September 26. Seasons one and two of The Mandalorian will be released on December 12. WandaVision will be released on November 28.

The Walt Disney Company said that all three shows will be available on Blu-ray Steelbook with collectible concept art cards as well as cohesive and collectible box art designed by Attila Szarka, according to Deadline.

Loki is created by Michael Waldron (Rick and Morty, Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness) and stars Tom Hiddleston (The Night Manager, Crimson Peak) as Loki and Owen Wilson (Zoolander, Wedding Crashers) as agent Mobius. The series is set after Avengers: Endgame and follows Loki as he steps out of Thor’s shadow. Season one debuted on Disney+ on June 9, 2021 and season two will debut on October 6, 2023.

The Mandalorian is created by Jon Favreau (Iron Man, Chef) and stars Pedro Pascal (The Last of Us, Kingsman: The Golden Circle) as Din Djarin. The series takes place five years after Return of the Jedi and the fall of the Galactic Empire. It is set in the Star Wars universe created by George Lucas (Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, The Empire Strikes Back).

WandaVision was created by Jac Schaeffer (The Hustle, Black Widow) and starred Elizabeth Olsen (Love & Death, Avengers: Age of Ultron) as Wanda Maximoff/the Scarlet Witch and Paul Bettany (Avengers: Infinity War, The Da Vinci Code) as Vision. Along with Olsen and Bettany, the series also featured Kathryn Hahn (Tiny Beautiful Things, Agatha: Coven of Chaos), Evan Peters (American Horror Story, X-Men: Apocalypse), Kat Dennings (2 Broke Girls, Dollface), Teyonah Parris (Candyman, The Marvels), and Randall Park (Fresh Off the Boat, Always Be My Maybe).
