In Nightly News‘ new promo, Lester Holt puts doubt of his position to rest. He promises to be a dependable anchor of the show.
The clip below shows Holt live reporting and captivating interviewees in difficult situations. In this NBC promo, a voiceover exclaims, “When news breaks, he’s there at the heart of the story. When lives change, he’s there to listen. When it really matters, you can depend on him.”
Starting on Monday, the program will officially be known as “NBC Nightly News With Lester Holt.”
Holt has been filling in during Brian Williams’ suspension. According to Variety, NBC announced that Holt will become the official anchor of Nightly News.
