The Conners are welcoming two new cast members to their home: Johnny Galecki and Juliette Lewis. Lewis will appear opposite Roseanne alum David (Galecki) as Blue, David’s girlfriend who was referenced last season on the Roseanne revival. Lewis is known for her role as Karen Weston in August: Osage County as well as Mallory Knox in Natural Born Killers. Galecki is now known for his role as Leonard Hofstadter in The Big Band Theory.
This past Tuesday is when Lewis announced her joining the ABC comedy, which will also welcome back star Johnny Galecki to reprise his role as David.
It is still unknown whether or not Lewis and Galecki will be in one or more episodes. The news had followed the of Maya Lynne Robinson who’ll play Geena Williams-Conner, wife of DJ (Michael Fishman) and mom of Mary (Jayden Rey), who returns home from active duty overseas in Afghanistan.
The cast as of now is Robinson, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson, Fishman, Emma Kenney, Ames McNamara, and Rey.
The Conners is set to premiere in October. Roseanne Barr’s character will be killed off after struggling with an opioid addiction, according to the fired actress.
