Joel McHale Returns to What He Does Best with New Netflix Talk Show

Funny dude Joel McHale took to Twitter making an announcement about his new Netflix show The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale. The series will premiere on February 18.

According to Deadline, McHale will serve double duty as host and executive producer along with director Paul Feig (Bridesmaids). The 13 episodes will be released weekly covering global pop culture and news featuring McHale’s brand of off-kilter humor.

Taking a page from his Talk Soup days on E!, the new series will feature clips, guests and sketches covering TV, politics, sports and more. In the clip McHale reveals the Netflix interpretation of “a lot of green” for his new show.

This return to the talk show type format follows McHale’s six seasons on Community and the CBS comedy The Great Indoors. We can only hope for the return of “man-kini” in the new series!
