Hoji Fortuna Joins Cast of HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’

Game of Thrones has added Angolan actor Hoji Fortuna to the cast of the fantasy hit Game of Thrones, according to Indiewire.

 

Season four of Game of Thrones began filming this August, and Fortuna has announced he is traveling to Croatia to shoot the series via his personal Facebook and Twitter accounts. There have not been any details released on his role yet.

There has been speculation toward the role Fortuna could possibly fill based upon his filming location, noted TV.com. This points mostly toward Brown Ben Plumm, a “sellsword captain who Daenerys encounters in her travels.

Fortuna has acted in many African films, most notably “Viva Riva!” which was released in the United States in 2011. He made his first American television appearance on the ABC series Pan-Am, which has since been cancelled. Upcoming films Fortuna are involved with include “Afronauts,” by Frances Bodomo as well as “In The Morning,” a directorial debut from Nefertite Nguvu.

 

With filming is currently happening, the fourth season of Game of Thrones is expected to air on HBO in Spring 2014.
