HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ Star Conleth Hill Reminds Everyone that Cersei Lannister Should Also Be Feared

Tonight’s episode of Game of Thrones is one that fans have been impatiently waiting for. Last week, HBO released a little preview for tonight’s Battle of Winterfell and to sum it up in few words from Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke): “the dead are already here.”

Watch the trailer below.

As most of everyone is ready to face the army of the dead in Winterfell, Cersei Lannister (Lena Heady) decides to stay back in King’s Landing. On the show, Varys (Conleth Hill) is afraid of Cersei because he knows what she’s capable of doing.

“There’s no talking to her… she’s the biggest threat to stability,” Hill told TV Line. “Even at the end of [Season] 7, there seems to be a coming together of everyone but her.”

Many fans are predicting Cersei’s death, but with different theories on how it would be done. One theory in particular that caught people’s attention was Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau)  killing his own sister/lover.

“I mean I don’t think he — I’m just saying it’s a valid theory. I can see it makes sense, it has a beautiful —it’s a nice circle [that] they are born together in the womb and then he kills her at the end…It makes sense,” Coster-Waldau said. “You could say that could — that the motivation for doing that would be the same for killing Cersei, but I haven’t seen anything yet before Season 7 that would make me believe that he was capable of doing that.”

Game of Thrones has a fan base all around the world. With only four episodes left in the final season, viewers are in no way prepared for what could happen next nor are they ready to face the show’s final moments.

Watch an all-new episode of Game of Thrones tonight on HBO at 9/8c.
