HBO Releases Trailer for Season 5 of Silicon Valley

As the lights went out at CES today, HBO announced the release of a trailer for season 5 of its hit show, Silicon Valley. According to the cable provider press release, the show epitomizes a “high-tech gold rush…where the people most qualified to succeed are the least capable of having success.”

Creators Mike Judge and Alec Berg have found critical success with Silicon Valley garnering annual Emmy nominations but have yet to bring home the golden egg. Season 4 ended with the Jared (Zach Woods) leaving Pied Piper, Richard (Robert Middleditch) having a crisis of conscience, and and Gavin (Matt Ross) once again playing CEO for Hooli.

The season 5 sneak peek throws Richard into the lion’s den with his usual cast of unsupportive characters. This is the first season without series regular T.J. Miller who departed the show in early 2017. Without his larger than life character, hopefully some minor players will have more opportunity to shine.

Get ready to launch your startup by checking out the trailer in anticipation of the March 25 release of Silicon Valley on HBO.
