HBO Releases ‘Last Week Tonight’ Season 4 Promo

John Oliver will soon be returning to Sunday nights at HBO to bring his blend of dark humor and gentle British accent to the world of current events.

The cabler has just released a promo for season 4 of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver which is set to return on February 12th at 11 pm. The teaser nicely incorporates other HBO shows like Game of Thrones and Silicon Valley, but its true gift is the appearance of Larry David, who will be returning for ninth season of Curb Your Enthusiasm after five years away.

John Oliver has brought his satirical charm to a slew of current events and political issues in the last three seasons of the series, touching on topics like prison reform, Snowden and the Puerto Rican government-debt crisis. Oliver also had plenty to cover last year with the presidential election, though he has been off the air since the results.

The Emmy-winning Last Week Tonight with John Oliver returns to HBO on Sunday, February 12th at 11 pm.
