Jennifer Aniston Talks Potential Return to TV

It sounds like Jennifer Aniston will always be there for television. In an interview with Variety, Aniston promoted her new movie The Yellow Birds, which is premiering at Sundance. During the interview, she also talked about a potential return to acting in a TV show.

When she was asked, she said “Yes, I would. I’ve thought about it a lot. That’s where the work is. That’s where the quality is. At this point in my career, I want to be part of wonderful stories, exciting characters, and also just having a good time … The experience needs to be a good experience. I have no time for the yelling, angry directors, or bad behavior anymore.”

In the interview, Aniston also said she wants to continue producing and said that she loves it.

Aniston, of course, has the iconic role of Rachel Green from Friends under her belt, a role she played for 10 years and 236 episodes during NBC’s “Must See TV” Thursday night comedy block back in the late 90s and early 2000s. Since Friends ended, she’s appeared in many different guest spots on various TV shows, including 30 Rock and Cougar Town, the latter of which starred Courteney Cox, Aniston’s co-star on Friends.

Recently, she made a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live back in December to promote her movie Office Christmas Party. During her appearance, she appeared in a sketch and in the Weekend Update segment of the show.

Since Friends ended in 2004, Aniston has acted in many different movies, including Along Came Polly, He’s Just Not That Into You, Horrible Bosses, Cake and The Yellow Birds, her upcoming movie that’s premiering at Sundance in which she’s also an executive producer. She’s also started doing some producing and directing as well.
