HBO Max Set to Launch This Week on Wednesday, May 27

The new Warner Media streaming platform HBO Max is set to launch this week on Wednesday, May 27. The new streaming service has heightened interest and expectations from television fans from all genres. Currently, the platform’s cost is set for $11.99 per month and is available for pre-order. HBO Max will include the vault of its HBO original content in addition to a variety of new television series, original films, and the acquisition of Warner Media series that did not originally air on the Home Box Office premium channel. 

HBO Max’s original television series on launch day will include the likes of the anthology series Love Life starring Anna Kendrick, Tokyo Vice, and Raised by Wolves. In the future, HBO Max has also announced that it will be bringing three projects from Bad Robot Productions with series based on The Shining aptly titled Overlook, a drama revolving around a 1970s getaway driver called Duster, and an untitled Justice league Dark program. Additionally, the platform will also include series such as Doom Patrol starring Diane Guerrero (Orange is the New Black) and Search Party starring Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development). The streaming platform will also incorporate the likes of The Big Bang Theory, South Park, and Friends into its 10,000 hours of content.
