HBO Max announces cast for Red Bird Lane, Oscar-winning star Susan Sarandon (Dead Man Walking) will be amongst the eight cast members according to Variety. Red Bird Lane is a thriller series featuring eight strangers that arrive at an isolated house.
Other cast members include Kiersey Clemons (Dope), Isidora Goreshter (Shameless), Danny Huston (Succession), Ash Santos (American Horror Story), Fiona Dourif (Tenet), Dizzie Harris (Shameless), and featuring Tara Lynne Barr (Casual). But, Sarandon will be playing as the hostess of the goosebump causing house. Despite, Sarandon’s charismatic character being well-loved for her brilliant ways, she is also the murderer.
Red Bird Lane is written and executive produced by Sara Gran (Come Closer) with David Slade’s (30 Days of Night) assisting as well. On behalf of the John Wells Productions, John Wells (The West Wing) and Erin Jontow (Shameless) will executive produce.
Sarandon is a five-time Oscar nominee and is well-known for her work in Dead Man Walking. She has also been nominated for nine Golden Globes and Emmy’s. Besides television involvement, Sarandon starred in the critically-acclaimed FX series, Feud.
Barr is known for her starring role in the Hulu series Casual. She has also made an appearance in the films: God Bless America and The Darkness. Barr’s other television roles include Aquarius and Misfits & Monsters.
Clemons had her breakout role in the film Dope and has also participated in Fox’s live staging of Rent, Transparent, Extant, and New Girl. Besides television, Clemons is well-known in films like Antebellum, Flatliners, and Sweetheart.
Goreshter is known for her acting in the hit Showtime series Shameless. She recently starred in the Audience Network series Condor. Goreshter’s film roles include Happy Anniversary, Clara’s Ghost, and Trouble.
Huston is a well-known character actor in shows like Succession, Yellowstone, and American Horror Story. Some of his film acting work includes Wonder Woman, Wrath of the Titans, Stan & Ollie, The Aviator, and The Constant Gardner.
Santos is known for her appearance in American Horror Story. She is also recognizable in her work within Good Joe Bell, Night Teeth, and Swing.
Dourif has recently starred in Tenet and is active in her role within Utopia. She is also known for her TV roles within The Blacklist, The Purge, Shameless, and Manhattan.
Harris is also a Shameless alum and has TV roles in the shows Lucifer and Runaways.
Red Bird Lane is produced by Warner Bros Television. The series has no set launch date.
