HBO Documentary on Warren Buffet Set for January

Considered by many to be one of the world’s most successful investors, Warren Buffet, the 86-year-old billionaire investor and philanthropist, is now hitting the small screen in a documentary from HBO that will revolve around his career and daily life.

The network said today, as reported by Deadline, that Becoming Warren Buffett, its feature-length documentary on the investor, is to premiere at 10 PM on January 30.

As the CEO and primary shareholder of Berkshire Hathaway, Buffett has created and expanded his empire by taking big stakes in companies he has faith in, particularly easily understandable ones.

The docu will give viewers an insider’s perspective on the daily life of Buffet and chronicle his journey from his humble beginnings in Nebraska as a boy who loved numbers to becoming one of the richest and most respectable men in the world. The docu will let us see Buffet – a man who has been most influential in the way Americans view capitalism and philanthropy – in a new light that extends beyond his net worth and investments.

The film is narrated largely in Buffett’s own words and features never-before-seen home videos, family photographs, archival footage, as well as interviews with family and friends.

Becoming Warren Buffett was directed by Peter Kunhardt and produced by Teddy Kunhardt and George Kunhardt.
