FX’s ‘Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans’ Releases Teaser Trailer

Deadline has reported that Ryan Murphy (Glee, American Horror Story) has revealed teaser trailer for Feud: Capote Vs. The Swansthe second season in the Feud anthology series. The teaser was posted on Murphy’s Instagram and also to the FX Networks YouTube channel.

Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans stars Chloë Sevigny (American Psycho, Zodiac) as Gloria Guinness, Demi Moore (Indecent Proposal, A Few Good Men) as Ann “Bang’Bang”, Diane Lane (Under the Tuscan Sun, Man of Steel) as Slim Kieth, Molly Ringwald (The Breakfast Club, The Bear) as Joanne Carson, Naomi Watts (The Watcher, King Kong) as Babe Paley, and Calista Flockhart (Brothers and Sister, Ally McBeal) as Pamela Churchill Harriman.

The cast also includes Russell Tovey (Being Human, Him & Her) as John O’Shea, Treat Williams (Chicago Fire, Chesapeake Shores) as Bill Paley, and Joe Mantello (The Boys in the Band, American Horror Story) as Jack Dunphy.

The series is based on the novel Capote’s Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal, and a Swan Song for an Era by Laurence Leamer (The Kennedy Women, Hitchcock’s Blondes). It begins in the 1970s  and follows famous author Truman Capote (In Cold Blood, Breakfast at Tiffany’s), played by Tom Hollander (The Night Manager, Pride & Prejudice), as he betrays four of his friends known as his “swans” by publishing a short story in Esquire in 1975, according to Deadline.

Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans consists of eight episodes, which are directed by Gus Van Sant (My Own Private Idaho, Good Will Hunting). Jon Robin Baitz (The West Wing, Brothers & Sisters) serves as showrunner and writer.

The series is produced by Ryan Murphy Productions, 20th Television, and Plan B Entertainment. It is executive produced by Watts, Van Sant, Baits Alexis Martin Woodall (The Watcher, American Horror Stories), Dede Gardner (She Said, Moonlight), and Tim Minear (The Chicago Code, Terries).

Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans will debut on FX and Hulu on January 31, 2024. Watch the trailer below!
