FX To Create Sequel Series From ‘American Psycho’

A sequel to Mary Harron’s “American Psycho” that starred Christian Bale is getting the series treatment from FX, according to Indiewire.
Originally novel by Bret Easton Ellis, the show will fast forward to Bateman in his mid-50’s, where goes head to head with an equally psychotic protege, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Allison Shearmur, Ed Pressman and Stefan Jaworski will serve as executive producer and Jaworski as writer.

Despite speculation on a continuation of “American Psycho”, the new series will fit nicely alongside FX’s American Horry Story, Sons of Anarchy, The Bridge and The Americans, according to Indiewire.
