FX Requests Pilot For Seth Rogen Animated Series

Seth Rogen and long-time writing/producing partner Evan Goldberg have been ordered to do a pilot by FX for an animated comedy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Based off of the faux autobiography books “In Me Own Words”, “Me Write Book” and “I Not Dead” by Canadian illustrator Graham Roumieu, Bigfoot follows “everyone’s favorite crypto-zoological hominid as modern-day everyman who struggles with life’s philosophical quandaries as well as his own animalistic tendencies,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Matt McKenna (American Dad) will write the project and serve as executive producer with Rogen and Goldberg for Point Grey Pictures, Roumieu, Jimmy Miller of Jimmy Miller Co. and Floyd County Productions’ and Archer writers Adam Reed and Matt Thompson, according to Indiewire.

“This will be the greatest show about an animated Bigfoot ever made,” Rogen said in the announcement.
