FX Gives First Look at Susan Sarandon & Jessica Lange in ‘Feud’

FX has started releasing more and more info on Ryan Murphy’s new series Feud, and it is shaping up to be one helluva show.

The first season of the anthology series centers on the highly tense relationship between legendary Oscar-winning actresses and co-stars Bette Davis and Joan Crawford as they shot the 1962 Robert Aldritch thriller Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?. The contentious behavior between the two stars is well-documented and was no secret, ranging from production and press tour complications to public displays of passive aggressiveness and hatred towards one another.

The images, per TVLine, give a look at Sarandon as Davis and Lange as Crawford, already clearly showing their strained relationship. Lange’s Crawford almost seems kind in the images compared to the cold, hardened looks of Sarandon’s Davis.

Sarandon and Lange are joined by a great supporting cast (as usual for a Ryan Murphy series) which includes Catherine Zeta-Jones, Stanley Tucci, Sarah Paulson, Alfred Molina, Judy Davis and Kathy Bates. Feud is set to premiere Sunday, March 5th at 10 pm on FX.
