Five Recurring Cast Members Added to ‘Doom Patrol’ Season Three

More rejected superheroes are joining the Doom Patrol. According to Deadline, the HBO Max Original series Doom Patrol is gaining five new recurring cast members.

Among the new recruits are Micah Joe Parker (Into The Dark), Wynn Everett (Teenage Bounty Hunters), Miles Mussenden (Cloak & Dagger), Anita Kalathara (MacGyver) and Gina Hiraizumi (Hawaii Five-0). According to Deadline, all of the new cast members are members of the Sisterhood of Dada, a group of individuals with superheroes who are known to cause mayhem.

Doom Patrol follows a rag-tag group of outsiders all with extraordinary capabilities. Under the leadership of The Chief (played by Timothy Dalton, License to Kill), they collectively overcome the traumas of their past in order to learn more about unusual occurrences in the world, via Deadline. However, when The Chief goes missing, Cyborg (played by Joivan Wade, The First Purge) devises a plan to find him and reunite their group.

Parker is set to play Malcolm, a sensitive wallflower who keeps to himself. Everett will play Shelley Byron aka The Fog, who’s charming personality is supposedly hiding deadly intentions. According to Deadline, Mussenden will portray Lloyd Jefferson aka Frenzy, a sculptor tattooed with the injustices from his past. Kalathara will play Holly McKenzie aka Sleepwalk, a lighthearted party girl who works in an ice cream truck. Finally, Hiraizumi is set to play Sachiko aka The Quiz, a girl whose numerous phobias inspire her incredible powers.

In addition to the new recurring season three castings, Madalyn Horcher (The Night Shift), Ty Tennant (Tolkein), and Sebastian Croft (Game of Thrones) are all set to guest star in the upcoming season, via Deadline.

According to Deadline, Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television produce Doom Patrol in association with executive producers Greg Berlanti (director, Love, Simon), Sarah Schechter (producer, Black Lightning), Chris Dingess (producer, Agent Carter), Geoff Johns (writer, The Flash) and Tamara Becher-Wilkinson (producer, Shades of Blue).
