First Time Host Of ‘Saturday Night Live’ Timothee Chalamet Delivers Harry Styles Impression

In his hosting debut on the December 12 episode of the NBC comedy skit show Saturday Night Live, actor Timothee Chalamet (Call Me By Your Name) shared his experiences when growing up in New York and later most notably, performed a skit in which he delivered an impression of singer Harry Styles, according to The Hollywood ReporterActor and comedian Pete Davidson (The King of Staten Island) later joined him in discussing his memories of Staten Island Christmases.

The duo opened up by saying, “I’ll always be a New York City kid at heart, especially at Christmas. New York, the city so nice, they named it New York!” Chalamet shared while sitting on the piano. Davidson joined in, joking, “We don’t leave Santa cookies. We leave him Bud Light and a White Claw. A majority of the episode was dominated by holiday sketches. In a skit entitled “A Rona Family Christmas,” Cecily Strong (Ghostbusters) and Beck Bennett (Bill & Ted Face the Music) acted as anthropomorphized versions of the coronavirus as they travelled from China to Italy to Florida. Chalamet played their son who had not yet infected anyone.

Meanwhile, in another skit featuring Ego Nwodim (It’s a Party) as singer Dionne Warwick in her very own talk show, she interviews celebrity guests Harry Styles, played by Chalamet, Billie Eilish, played by Melissa Villaseñor (Hubie Halloween),  Chalamet, played by Chloe Fineman (Search Party), and Machine Gun Kelly, played by Davidson. The evening’s host was featured as her first guest where he mainly discussed his recent single entitled, “Watermelon Sugar” while he joked about the meaning.
