The comedienne is working on a new homossexual-themed show for NBC.
Deadline reported earlier today that the new project is still untitled, but it’s set to be executive produced by DeGeneres and written by Liz Feldman (who also pens 2 Broke Girls).
The show’s plot revolves around a lesbian woman and her male best friend. She gets pregnant at the same time that he meets and marries the love of his life.
It is not the first time that NBC has bet on gay/lesbian-themed shows: the most famed one was Will & Grace, but there were quite a few others like Smash and Go On, both cancelled last season, and more recently, Sean Saves The World.
