The specials will bring the two back together and put them face-to-face with a brand new villain, who seems to be one of their toughest matches yet called the Toymaker, who is played by Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother). The first special in this anniversary series is titled The Star Beast, the second Wild Blue Yonder, and the third, The Giggle. The trailer has given audiences a sneak peek into the action-packed story that is going to unfold in the new episodes and introduces us to the Doctor’s latest villain and how tough their victory against him might be.
