A new cast member has joined the cast of Agatha: Coven of Chaos. According to Deadline, That ‘70s Show alum Debra Jo Rupp (The Ranch, This Is Us) joined the WandaVision spinoff.

Other cast members of the show include Kathryn Hahn (Transparent, Bad Moms) who will be reprising her role as evil witch Agatha Harkness, male lead Joe Locke (Heartstopper), Aubrey Plaza (White Lotus, Spin Me Round), Ali Ahn (Raising Dion, Next), Maria Dizzia (The Good Nurse, The Staircase), Sasheer Zamata (Home Economics, Woke), and Patti Lupone (American Horror Story, The School for Good and Evil). Emma Caulfield Ford (Once Upon a Time, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) will also be reprising her role from WandaVision where she played Dottie.

The details regarding most of the cast members’ characters are being kept mostly under wraps but there are rumors that Locke and Plaza will be playing villains in the show while Ahn and Dizza are rumored to be playing witches. There is also some speculation that Broadway actress Lupone will also be playing a witch.

According to Deadline, no details regarding Rupp’s character have been revealed but it’s safe to assume she will be reprising her role as Mrs. Hart from WandaVision. She appeared in five episodes of the show including “Filmed Before a Live Studio Audience,” “Don’t Touch That Dial,” “Breaking the Fourth Wall” and the series finale.

In WandaVision, Mrs. Hart is part of the neighborhood where Wanda, played by Elizabeth Olsen (MCU, Godzilla), and Vision, played by Paul Bettany (MCU, Uncle Frank), live. She is first introduced as the wife of Vision’s boss. Vision had invited his boss and his wife to dinner at his house where Wanda is having a hard time cooking dinner and controlling her magic. The episode brings the nostalgia of 50’s sitcoms to a new and young audience.

WandaVision creator Jac Schaeffer (Black Widow, The Hustle) will serve as a writer and executive producer for the show. Agatha: Coven of Chaos is one of the many Marvel series set to premiere in 2023.
