DC’s ‘Young Justice’ Receives New Title for Upcoming Season 4

The animated DC comics series Young Justice will rename itself for its fourth season as announced at DC FanDome, according to Deadline. Young Justice will now be titled Young Justice: Phantoms for its upcoming season. The animated comic book series premiered on Cartoon Network in 2010 and consists of three seasons, amassing a total of seventy-two episodes during this run. The show was based on the comic book under the same name and was adapted for television by Greg Weisman (The Spectacular Spider-Man) and Brandon Vietti (Batman: Under the Red Hood, The Batman). Additionally, the animated program is executive produced by Vietti, Weisman, and Sam Register (Ben 10, Teen Titans). 

Young Justice: Phantoms follow suit of the third season which also saw the show change its name to Young Justice: Outsiders. The animated series centers on a team of teen super-sidekicks and their mission together to prove they are worthy of hero statuses. The voice cast includes the likes of Jesse McCartney (Alvin and the Chipmunks) as Robin, Jason Spisak (Star Wars: The Clone Wars) as Wally West, Khary Payton (The Walking Dead) as Kaldur’ahm, Nolan North (Batman: Arkham, Uncharted) as Superboy, Stephanie Lemelin (Dawn of the Croods) as Artemis Crock, and Danica McKellar (The Wonder Years) as Megan Morse. Additional guest stars have included Mae Whitman (The DUFF, Arrested Development), Alyson Stoner (Camp Rock), and Troy Baker (The Last of Us). 

Currently, there is no announced premiere date for Young Justice’s fourth season nor a trailer available as well. The animated show can be streamed in its entirety on the DC Universe streaming platform.
