The Game of Thrones actor David Bradley will take over John Hurt’s part in The Strain.
According to The Warp, David Bradley will replace the role of Professor Abraham Setrakian in the drama directed by Guillermo del Toro.
Bradley, known for his role of Walder Frey in HBO’s Game of Thrones, will join the cast of the vampire drama, The Strain. The news comes after FX announced earlier this week that they have ordered 13 episodes of the show.
The Strain is based on the books written by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan. The story shows Dr Ephraim Goodweather (Corey Stoll) while he and his team are investigating a mysterious virus which might change the fate of humanity.
David Bradley will play the role of Professor Abraham Setrakian, who is a holocaust survivor who emigrated to the US after World War II.
The show is created and executive produced by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan.
