Andy Bobrow sold a pitch for his new creation, Permanent Vacation, to ABC, Deadline reports.
Permanent Vacation, a single camera comedy, is about a group of middle-of-the-road misfits in a mediocre bar on an average resort in the middle of a lake in the middle of America. Bobrow created the show with Kristen Holloway through Sony Pictures TV and Will Gluck’s studio-based Olive Bridge.
Bobrow will still produce Community, which is returning for it’s 5th season this winter as a midseason replacement for the now canceled Welcome to the Family on NBC.
