Comedy Central’s Stand-Up month begins on March 29 and will feature some big names in the comedy scene.
Comedy Central will feature comedians Hannibal Buress, Patton Oswalt, Dave Attell, Tracy Morgan, Jim Gaffigan and David Spade in one-hour stand-up specials. There will also be an uncensored stand-up series from Attell and a premiere of the documentary The Improv: 50 Years Behind the Brick Wall. The documentary features interviews with Judd Apatow, Jerry Seinfeld, Sarah Silverman, Jay Leno, Jimmy Fallon, the Wayans brothers and more.
The stand-up specials are distributed via CC: Stand-Up Direct, the service will allow unlimited streams and downloads of uncut, uncensored stand-up specials. This will allow fans unprecedented easy access of stand-up content for an affordable price.
