Cheyenne Jackson Confirms He’s Returning to ‘American Horror Story’ for Season Six

As another season of American Horror Story is preparing to start, a familiar face is coming back around for the new season. According to Entertainment Weekly, Cheyenne Jackson is returning to the show for its sixth season.

Jackson played Will Drake, a fashion designer who moved into the Hotel Cortez and eventually married The Countess (Lady Gaga).

Jackson also confirmed the news on his Twitter page.

American Horror Story isn’t the first show that Jackson has done with Ryan Murphy, the creator of the show. In Glee’s second season, he portrayed Dustin Goolsby, the director of Vocal Adrenaline, one of the New Directions’ main competitors throughout the season. He appeared in three episodes of the show.

Jackson has also appeared in the TV movie Behind The Candelabra, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Ugly Betty. He’s also appeared on Broadway in many roles, including a role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Aida, All Shook Up and Damn Yankees.

The news of Jackson’s return to American Horror Story shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. Back in March, he invited anyone who was on stage with him at Paleyfest to come back to the show, with Jackson being one of the cast members on stage with other members of the cast.

While fans of the show can be happy to see Jackson returning to the show, it’s going to be another season without Jessica Lange, who starred in the first four installments of the show. However, she’s still going to be working with Murphy on another FX series entitled Feudwhere she’ll co-star with Susan Sarandon, where they tell the story of the feud between Bette Davis and Joan Crawford.

In addition to Jackson returning to the show, Lady Gaga has also confirmed she’s returning to the show after she was a fan favorite character in the show’s fifth season.

There’s no word about what the title and theme for the upcoming season of the show will be.

American Horror Story season six will premiere on FX sometime in 2016, as an official premiere date has yet to be announced. Usually, the new seasons of the show start in the middle of October.
