According to Deadline, Chasing Life just received a back order for seven episodes. This back order brings the first season up to 20 episodes, which is the standard for an ABC Family full season.
Chasing Life is an adaptation of the Mexican series Terminales. The series stars Italia Ricci as April, a young newspaper reporter. April is trying to balance her career aspirations with her family. When her work and her personal life start looking up, she receives news that her estranged uncle has cancer.
Aaron Kaplan is the executive producer of the show and Susanna Fogel and Joni Lefkowitz are the writers. Chasing Life also stars Mary Page Keller,Haley Ramm and Richard Brancatisano.
